Here is a sneak peek at our Fuji GW690iii rangefinder aptly known as “The Texas Leica” namely due to its shear size. This camera has a mechanical Leaf Shutter with speeds from T, 1, 2, 4, 8, 15, 30, 60, 125, 250, 500/s, in order to make the correct exposure I either use the Sunny 16 Rule or my Sekonic light meter.
The lens is fixed 90mm, 40mm in 35 equivalent, with shutter and aperture controls built in. The Viewfinder is large with an extremely bright viewfinder with central focus spot that is easy to use in most shooting situations. The lens has amazing detail and presents a 3D Pop right down to the minimum aperture. The resulting saturation is rich with punchy tones in colour and B&W.
