The studio focused on future of high-speed urban mobility that converges to provide universal publicly accessible transport between Melbourne and Sydney.
Rapid mass transit is a necessity for urbanised global communities, the Japanese Shinkansen, Shanghai Maglev trains and conceptual Hyperloops provide examples of potential future mobility. This project extends on current concepts of Hyperloop vehicles developed and prototyped for the Elon Musk Project.
Design and concept development occurred within a purely digital design practice that emphasised digital modelling, visualisation and interactive communication methods. Through this, we developed both external and interior arrangements of the vehicle pods for, User experience, Seating, Dining as well as Vehicle stop interfaces.
The studio utilised various CAID packages including Autodesk suite, Adobe suite, Rhino3d, Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) tools in order to prosper in an increasingly digitised and trans-national design studio practice.
